The study added that Woods raked in $100 million annually from endorsements.

Casino customer and responsible gambler

Tiger Woods was often seen in The Mansion of the MGM Grand Casino, where he played blackjack for $25,000 a hand and could play on credit for up to 1 million dollars. But he remained a responsible husband. Although his gambling adventures were sometimes outrageous, he never really got in trouble. Moreover, Tiger was more of a responsible gambler, than a responsible husband.

Tiger Woods declines casino sponsorship deal

It is reported that Paddy Power, Ireland’s largest online casino and sportsbook operator, approached the 14-time major champion with an offer it thought Woods couldn’t refuse. The multi-faceted giant of gambling industry offered Tiger Woods $75 million to boost its brand name over a period of five consecutive years.

The timing of the online casino’s offer couldn’t be better since Woods lost almost all of his former sponsorship deals. Nevertheless, Tiger Woods refused to accept the million dollar deal, but Paddy Power wanted to continue talks in hopes of making a revised offer.

According to their own statements, Paddy Power might come up with an even more lucrative deal. They will make an enhanced offer, the details of which will remain confidential.

It should be interesting and exciting to see how Woods reacts when the bidding continues.
